SoundHUD

SoundHUD is an application that lets you customize the sound control panel on your Android, so whenever you press the volume up/down button you can access many more options than usual.

The first thing you can set up using SoundHUD is the general look of your control panel. You can make it bigger, more minimalistic so it takes very little room, or simply make it stay in the status bar. You can choose either one based on your needs and preference.

Another interesting feature in SoundHUD lets you launch an application by pressing one of the sound buttons. For example, you can link the volume down button with Facebook, so whenever you press that button, the app is launched.
